“When I started to live a healthier lifestyle with eating whole foods, regular strength exercise and chiropractic adjustments, I grew in awareness of how much better my body felt and was compelled to keep choosing these healthy habits”
There is an idea floating around that once you go to a chiropractor you have to keep going. This is a false assumption. Once you start eating salads or exercising you aren’t obligated to keep up the habit, but you can choose to. It’s the same with Chiropractic.
When I started to live a healthier lifestyle with eating whole foods, regular strength exercise and chiropractic adjustments, I grew in awareness of how much better my body felt and was compelled to keep choosing these healthy habits. It’s not because I have to do so but I rather enjoy the continued benefits I gain from choosing to do so.
The majority of the time it’s some sort of pain or injury that brings someone into a chiropractic clinic because it has a pretty good track record with dealing with such. But Chiropractic has much more to offer.
Improving the structure and movement of the spine can have flow on effects to health of the spinal cord and brain. Spinal strengthening and mobility exercises are a key way to improve your physical health, especially in our sedentary culture. Chiropractors are specifically trained to improve the joint function of your spine through gentle adjustments.
Once you start noticing the changes in your body you may choose to continue with regular check-ups, just like you would with your car to ensure it is roadworthy. But as an adult you are also free to decide not to continue to benefit, the choice is yours!
